BUSINESS INCUBATION

The students bitten by the entrepreneurial bug walk into the business incubation center with a vague idea of what they want to do. Resource persons at "Founvations" mould these ideas into financially viable business ventures. The students undergo a series of psychometric tests which determine if he has the "fire in his belly" and if he will be able to withstand the rigour of entrepreneurship. A business plan is then prepared by the students with help of the mentors. The plan is analyzed and is subjected to detailed scrutiny. Once the plan satisfies the financial and business criteria, funding is lined up. Legal formalities like registration of the company, tax compliance etc., are then completed. The business thus reaches the take-off stage. The entrepreneur starts his journey.

As many as 17 ventures have taken birth at Founvations encompassing wide domains of business areas.
